Refurbishment of windows at historic Pollok House
Pollok House is one of Glasgow’s oldest buildings, first built in 1752 and ancestral home to the Maxwell and Jardine families. It was gifted to the city in 1966 and was in need of vital works carried out to conserve the historic property. In September 2015 Glasgow City Council approved more than £1 million to repair and refurbish Pollok House which has been dubbed by the National Trust as Scotland’s answer to Downton Abbey. Preservation Windows were delighted to be a part of the refurbishment team to restore the historic building.
